first_imgKevin Phillips has hailed Esteban Cambiasso’s influence in Leicester’s turnaround – claiming the Argentinean has been ‘outstanding’.Bottom of the Premier League at Christmas, the Foxes have won all but one of their last seven matches and now sit 15th, three points clear of the drop zone.Cambiasso arrived at the King Power Stadium last summer and Leicester coach Phillips believes the 34-year-old will need to be on top form in the club’s two remaining fixtures against Sunderland and QPR.“He’s an organiser,” the former Sunderland striker told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show, when asked about Cambiasso. “He’s got great qualities on the football pitch.“He’s a calming influence, when some others are losing their heads.“They look up to him.
