FANTASY HOME It was a house on Annie St in New Farm and it cost $36,000. I purchased it in 1983 and chose it based on the basic real estate fundamental of proximity to CBD, and thought it would be a great investment. I sold it three years later for $72,000. CURRENT HOME We live at Brookfield, west of Brisbane. My family and I were looking for the acreage experience. Although the house is the right size for my seven children, ideally it would have been better to work out how to accommodate everyone comfortably in a smaller space.
