Lewis Grabban rejoins Bournemouth from Norwich for undisclosed fee

first_img Lewis Grabban 1 Bournemouth have completed the signing of former striker Lewis Grabban from Norwich in a deal rumoured to be worth around £8m.Grabban played for the Cherries between 2012 and 2014 and returns to the club on a three-and-a-half-year contract having spent 18 months at Norwich.Following his £3m move to Carrow Road, Grabban helped the Canaries gain promotion in his debut season, scoring 13 goals in his time in East Anglia.Eddie Howe had three bids rejected for his former frontman in the summer but Alex Neil has now sanctioned the move, with the Norwich boss hoping to complete the signing of Steven Naismith from Everton for £8m.The news comes only 24 hours after the club confirmed the signing of Benik Afobe from Wolves for a club record £9m.“I think we’ll be getting a better Lewis Grabban, but he’ll realise that we’ve got better as well and he will have to adapt too. But we’re in no doubt we’re getting a good player back,” manager Howe told his club’s official website.“He’s also someone who was popular in the dressing room behind the scenes he’s a strong motivator and we’re delighted to be bringing him back.”last_img read more
