Iden was joined by his parents, Ron and Bonnie, and sister, Ashlyn.“I’m very happy to have this opportunity to serve the residents of the 61st District, and I look forward to working to continue the progress that has been made in Michigan in recent years,” said Iden, R-Oshtemo. “House Republicans have made many great reforms during the past four years, and I am eager to work with new and returning members to continue to revitalize our state’s economy, as well as providing a strong voice for my community.”The 61st District encompasses part of Kalamazoo County and includes the city of Portage as well as the townships of Oshtemo, Prairie Ronde, Schoolcraft and Texas.
