Oman Post will no longer send mail to Sri Lanka until further

Oman Post has announced that it will temporarily stop receiving any mail to be sent to Sri Lanka, “due to unforeseen circumstances”.In a statement online, the postal agency said, “We would like to inform you that Oman Post will stop accepting P.O. mail to Sri Lanka, Colombo due to unforeseen circumstances until further notice.” An official from Oman Post told Times of Oman that the decision came from the Sri Lankan authorities.“We received an email that Sri Lanka Post will not be accepting any international mail until further notice.” (Colombo Gazette)

Special guest and Brock alumnus Rick Campanelli will be at Brock to celebrate its 50th anniversary at Homecoming weekend, Sept. 18-21.Registration is now open for Homecoming 2014, and this is the year to return, reunite and relive.Join special guest and fellow Brock alumnus Rick Campanelli to celebrate Brock’s 50th anniversary at Homecoming weekend, Sept. 18-21.Many events are scheduled, including a re-dedication of the Schmon Tower, Steel Blade Hockey Classic, followed by pub night with Pat Hewitt, over 15 reunions, and the premier event, the Red Dinner (with food trucks and performer Mark Lalama).“We have planned a weekend of events that will allow our alumni to relive their Brock experience, while reuniting with fellow graduates,” said Christine Richard, 50th anniversary special event coordinator. “We encourage attendees to help us paint the campus red that weekend by wearing Brock colours and memorabilia to all athletic games and featured events.
