A father of five was on Wednesday fined when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts charged with using threatening behaviour towards his reputed wife, Stacy Greenidge.Leon Nelson, 35, of 316 Middle Street, Cummingsburg, Georgetown, pleaded guilty to the charge when it was read to him by Magistrate Leron Daly.It is alleged that on August 16, at North Cummingsburg, he used threatening behaviour towards the Virtual Complainant (VC).The prosecution contended that on the day in question, the defendant and Greenidge had an argument over a phone and the defendant picked up a knife threatening to kill her.However, the defendant told the court a very different story.
